PhilippinesThis is a redesigned mask, not sure if it's from a design or materials availability perspective. The new mask features a thinner fabric compared to the old masks, different seam stitching and modified ear loop dimensions. Based on experience, I personally prefer the old design as the new one feels too thin and big for my face. It doesn't have that hugged-to-my-face feel. The new earlooop may help with the so-called tearing on the old masks - something I've never experienced myself (but also reported by my mom who has one of the older Banale versions. Maybe it's a function of face width?). The bigger width of the earloops make the fabric bunch more around my ears, it doesn't lie flat like the original design. In general, not too happy with the redesign, particularly with the thinner fabric. If you must get one of these, see if you can still snag the old one. The one that comes in a box and not a flat pack. I've attached pics for comparison. Also for reference, I have a smallish face/head. I guess for wider set ears this may work as it feels more loose than the original design.
