Urban Traveller & Co. hosted the 2nd Unofficial Carryology Meet-Up at our One Bonifacio High Street branch this past September 23, 2023. The release was a celebration of our small but dedicated and devoted Everyday Carry community, many of whom are already loyal customers of UTC. The unofficial Carryology Meet-Up saw members of the community meet one another, sharing and presenting their bags to one another, sharing their favourite things about the bags that make their everyday work better.

Gelo Riego of @gelocurated on Instagram also won our special raffle, where he won an Evergoods Civic Access Pouch 2L in Burgundy Red!

The event hosted an exclusive release of the Evergoods x Carryology Collaboration - The Griffin Collection.

But what exactly is the EVERGOODS x Carryology - Griffin Collection?

Carryology shook hands with Evergoods to  collaborate on building a line of bags designed to be hard-wearing, handsome, and an heirloom collection for the ages, they added their own touches to the Evergoods CPL24 (along with its tech kit little brother, the CAP2), and then twisted the dial up to 11 with features from their previous Phoenix collections. Initially the Phoenix collections V1 and V2 were born from futuristic high-tech materials and technology – but Carryology wanted to look back in order to move into the future; the idea of a Phoenix V3 burned out fast, so they decided to fly in an opposite direction: Taking Evergoods back into the Old World.

Thus, the Griffin collection was born. Classic, timeless, and iconic, the collection features the quintessential Evergoods pieces made with waxed canvas and leather. This is what the Urban Traveller & Co. 2nd Unofficial Carryology Meet-Up was meant to celebrate.

Akin to the Griffin’s fusion of two legendary animals, the award-winning Evergoods CPL24 collides with the historic Scottish mill, Halley Stevensons. Built in shades of P400 Wax C4X (a custom-made high-end cotton & wax finished shell that’s stiff and durable), beautiful leather "blood knot" zipper pullers sourced from 100-year-old supplier Berger Co adorn the bag’s exterior. Combined with a stunning hot orange internal lining and the CPL24’s signature features sets and appearance, the Griffin Edition is “modern meets heritage incarnate.” The CAP2L offers the same build features with a stunning hot orange internal lining.
