Urban Traveller & Co. Wraps Up Its 10th Anniversary Celebration with UTX: A Decade of Carrying Every Moment
Urban Traveller & Co. concluded its milestone 10th anniversary celebration with UTX: A Decade of Carrying Every Moment, held from November 21–23 at the Shangri-La Plaza East Wing Atrium. The three-day celebration gathered Carry Geeks, creatives, design advocates, and global brand partners in a dynamic showcase of collaboration, community, and purposeful design.
Hosted by long-time UTC friend, actor Chuckie Dreyfus, the event featured the complete UTCx collaboration gallery, hands-on brand installations, and a special art & design exhibition curated with Fundación Sansó. A significant highlight was the attendance of the heirs of National Artist for Visual Arts Larry Alcala, led by Lauro Alcala Jr., creating a meaningful connection between local artistic legacy and contemporary functional design.

UTC also welcomed VIP guest Anita Ng of Orbitkey, who flew in from Australia to celebrate the anniversary and meet the Philippine carry community.
During the Carry Community Gathering, Urban Traveller & Co. honored two standout community members: Alpaka Alpha Rey Lim and long-time UTC supporter Benny Guison, both awarded as UTCx Collectors for completing every item across the UTCx collaborations — from collectible pins and patches to accessories and limited-run bags.

The Ultimate Packing Challenge became a crowd favorite, offering high energy and plenty of surprises — the biggest being the clear that the queens of travel reign supreme.
Guests were treated to a special Dan Matsuda patch, raffle prizes which included two major items coming directly from the Evergoods Vault in Bozeman — rare limited-edition blood orange bags highly coveted within the carry community. The crowd also received warm video greetings from the Matador and Evergoods teams, extending their support and celebrating UTC’s decade-long milestone.
As the grand finale, UTC unveiled the next major collaboration: UTC x Packolab. Borys of Packolab personally walked guests through the special features of the collab’s three limited-edition prototypes, with only 50 sets to be released — instantly making it one of the most anticipated drops for 2026.

Reflecting on the milestone, Chief Curator Hans Kenner Fernandez shared:
“UTX became more than an anniversary celebration — it became a gathering of people who believe in carrying with intention. Seeing families, founders, artists, and fans come together affirmed everything we’ve built over the past decade.”
Urban Traveller & Co. closes UTX with deep gratitude and looks forward to an exciting next chapter of collaborations and community-driven design.
